In March 2009, we are launching modeX Transmitter, a stationary transmitter which transmits the sound directly to hearing instruments with an FM receiver. The same broad frequency range as for the microphone and receiver for modeX is used. modeX Transmitter can easily be mounted on modeX Receiver. In October 2007, the Audiological Society awarded its "Gold Microphone Prize" to GN ReSound for our new modeX communication system, which is now available on the market. The competition took place in Örebro during the annual Swedish Audiology Day (Svenska Audiologiska Dagen - SAS). The winner was selected by a jury chosen by the Audiological Society’s board.

During 2008 we are touring Sweden with modeX. We will offer exciting lectures and a "live demo" of the system.
